At the Jackson County Summer Fair, you'll find more than just rides and great things to eat. There is more to touch, smell, taste, hear...in fact, there are so many great things to do, it's fun-believable. You'll want to spend an entire day, wandering the exhibits, attending the concerts...heck, why not come for two days?

- Admission: Adults $10, Seniors ages 62-74 $6 (seniors over 75 FREE), and Children ages 6-11 $6 (children 5 and under FREE)
- Tuesday: Kids Day - Kids $3
- Wednesday: Senior Day - Seniors $3
- Thursday: Veterans Day - Active or Retired Veterans $6
- Sunday: 2 for 1 Day - Buy one admission ticket and get one free
This year included in fair admission are these great attractions. Challenge of the Champions bull riding, Monster Trucks, Freestyle Motocross spectacular, and the beloved prize-winning dogs from America’s Got Talent. Check out the schedule for these on the free daily attractions.

The Great Bear Show
All Day Event with Special Shows!
Tuesday–Saturday: 1 pm, 4 pm and 6 pm
Sunday: 1 pm
For the first time, the Great Bear Show is coming to the 2013 Fair. Don’t miss this remarkable opportunity to see these amazing animals up close! The Great Bear Show is the longest running animal education program in the country. The organization rescues orphaned bear cubs and creates safe habitat for them on their ranch in Texas.
Tuesday–Saturday: 12 pm, 3 pm and 7 pm
Sunday: 12 pm
It’s the Toughest Sport On Wool for kids. Children 3 to 6 years old, weighing less than 60 lbs. try to ride a sheep for six seconds. Registration takes place at the Expo grounds prior to show time. Winners from each go-round are invited back to the Championship Round on Sunday. Mutton Bustin' is in a new location this year, next to the Mace building.
Walk on the Wild Side
All Day Event
Walk on the Wild Side is an organization that rehabilitates and cares for wild felines that are orphaned, abandoned, or sold illegally into captivity and later rescued. This popular live animal exhibit brings a diverse mix of exotic animals. This year's main feature will be "Big Cats". See these incredible predators up close and learn about their natural habitat and instincts at this educational exhibit.
The Incredible Hypnotist
Tuesday–Friday: 4 pm–4:45 pm, 7:20 pm–8:05 pm
Saturday: 5 pm-5:45 pm, 7:20 pm–8:05 pm
Sunday: 1:15 pm-2pm
With quick wit and charm with experience gives Richard Barker the ability to use comedy hypnosis to dazzle and entertain any size of audience or gathering. Richard also practices clinical Hypnotherapy and is a member of the National Guild of Hypnotists and the National Board of Hypnotists. Richards approach to stage hypnosis is fresh and unique, and he brings many new angles to the fast paced intriguing show. Richard commands the stage but is very friendly and approachable. Richard said, “It is not about embarrassing people or making them do things they do not want to do. The hypnotized group enjoys the show and have as much fun as the audience."

New this year Richard Barker will be bringing his strolling robot. He will be traveling around the fair so watch out for him.
Ride a Camel
All Day Event
Go on safari at the 2013 Fair. Camel rides are available for kids of all ages. Meet the camels, Big Al and Tonto, and go for the ride of a lifetime. Don’t miss the chance to see what the view looks like from the back of one of these gentle giants. Additional charge applies.
